摘要
基于局部熵的连续多分辨率地形绘制算法,使用局部熵因子作为粗糙度新的衡量因子.由于局部熵因子取值范围的不确定性,要对局部熵因子自底向上进行误差扩散,从而消除节点间可能产生的裂缝.局部熵因子考虑了更多的顶点信息,实验证明其能比高度差更好地评价节点的粗糙度,能以较高的分辨率绘制局部比较粗糙的地形节点.
The local entropy factor is put forward as a new coarseness factor.Because of the local entropies' irregular values,the error proliferations are used in a recursive process from bottom to top which can eliminate the cracks between the nodes with the different levels of detail.The experimental results show that the local entropy factor is a better split metric factor to test the terrain blocks' coarseness.The nodes which are coarser can be rendered with a highr level of detail.
