A Probe into the Documentary Value of The Record of the Establishment of Tianci Fortress in Daningjian

《大宁监创筑天赐城记》是南宋夔州路安抚使徐宗武在抗元基地天赐城完工后撰写的碑文,如实记载了天赐城的创修经过和抵御蒙古入侵的作用,长期堙埋地下,清代方才出土,保留了宋蒙三峡战争的珍贵资料。

The Record of the Establishment of Tianci Fortress in Daningjian is the tablet inscription written by Xu Zongwu,the Anfushi（a kind of military officer） of Kuizhou district in the Southern Song Dynasty.It recorded the process of the establishment of Tianci fortress and its function of resisting the Mongolian.But it was buried underground until the Qing Dynasty.It helps to preserve precious document about the wars in the area of the Three Gorges between the Song Dynasty and the Mongolian.
