摘要
来自《圣经》经典场景的文化编码存在于西方许多作家的潜意识中,在他们笔下或被继承或被颠覆。在《送冰的人来了》中,通过对《圣经》场景的投影和颠覆,奥尼尔表达了他对基督教拯救人类能力的讽刺与否定,认为失去了宗教信仰的现代人必须在古希腊酒神狄俄尼索斯世界中寻求人生的依托。
Classical scenes from the Bible are considered the most ancient layer of cultural accumulation,which,existing in the unconsciousness of many western writers,are inherited or overturned by successive generations.In The Iceman Cometh,by applying and overturning the biblical scenes,O'Neill expresses his satire and negation of the saving ability of Christianity,and he believes that in the modern society people who have lost their religious beliefs have to seek their spiritual support of life in the Dionysiac world of the ancient Greece.
