On the Theoretical Value of Habermas's Category of Cognitive Interests

认识兴趣范畴是哈贝马斯重建认识论的基础性范畴,其实质是强调认识(理论)与兴趣(即生活世界的利益)之间的相互交织关系。认识兴趣包括"技术的认识兴趣"、"实践的认识兴趣"和"解放的认识兴趣"三个层次,"解放的认识兴趣"是整个认识兴趣范畴的灵魂。只有正确把握认识兴趣范畴,才能真正理解认识的主体性、认识的意义、认识论与社会理论之间的联系。

Categories of cognitive interests,on which Habermas reconstructed epistemology,stress the intertwined relationship between knowledge and interest.Cognitive interests may be divided into three layers：technical cognitive interests,practical cognitive interests and liberation cognitive interests,and the last one is the soul of the whole.Only by grasping the categories of cognitive interests can we understand the cognitive subjectivity,the cognitive significance,and the relationship between epistemology and social theory.
