The Receivers' Discourse Roles in Dynamic Conversation

传统上认为,言语活动中的接受者,在交际中属于相对被动的角色。文章通过对动态话语活动中话语角色的考察,认为参与者的话语角色不是固定的,而是不断地发生着变化;而且,参与者还有可能同时身兼多种话语角色。各种话语角色之间相互影响,又决定于言语活动参与者的主观意图。分析表明,受话者在言语活动中不是被动的,而是主动的,和发话者一样,是言语活动创造者。

The receivers＇ discourse roles in conversation have been considered to be passive,compared to the speakers＇ discourse roles.Although researchers have shown that the speech receiver can shift his discourse roles from one type to another,the paper claims in their analysis such roles are single and static in nature.This author argues that the receivers in the conversation have dynamic discourse roles,and such roles can be multiple.The receivers play active roles and should be regarded as co-creator of the conversation.
