英汉“绿色”能产性及语义趋同现象分析

On the productivity and semantic convergence of "green": A comparative study between Chinese and English

"绿色"(green)作为当今时代的时髦词,具有研究价值。从修辞构词看,特别是从隐喻和借代的角度,英汉"绿色"词汇表现出很强的能产性;从语义上看,从历时和共时的角度,英汉"绿色"(green)的意义有从原来的文化趋异走向文化趋同的趋势。

＂Green＂,currently quite a buzz word,has its own value of study. In the perspective of rhetorical compounding,mainly of metaphor and metonymy,＂green＂is highly productive in both English and Chinese languages. Besides,the semantic change of＂green＂in both Chinese and English,diachronically and synchronically,shows that the meaning of＂green＂is getting culturally convergent instead of culturally divergent.
