With the development of the English language,the generation of English newly coined words is witnessed each day. Among the variety of English newly coined words,cyber-neologism accounts for the largest proportion. Starting with the definition of cyber-neologism,this paper analyses its formation and causes from the view of lexicology to reveal the influence of the development of technology on English cyber-neologism and to grasp the latest findings of English vocabulary development.
