刘向《列女传》中的女性角色规范

The Female Character Standards in Liu Xiang's "Biography of Women"

据刘向《列女传》可知汉代婚姻女性在夫家扮演了三种不同角色:为人妻的贞顺、为人母的才德和对公婆的孝敬。刘向明确了女性在婚姻中的使命与责任,提出了贞、才、德、孝的角色要求,在一定程度上有利于家庭和谐、子女成长和社会稳定。但他男尊女卑的主导思想,过分强调了女性单方面的责任和规范,给后世婚姻中的女性套上了一道残酷的思想枷锁。

According to Liu Xiang＇s ＂Biography of Women＂,we know that married woman in the Han Dynasty played three different roles in the husband＇s homes.As a wife she must be loyal and obedient,as a mother she must be talented and ethical.She should also take care of the mom-in-law personalities.Liu Xiang made clear the mission of women in marriage and responsibility.To a certain extent,it is beneficial to family harmony,children＇s growth and social stability.But he emphasised on the unilateral responsibility of women and norms too much.In later ages,women got caught up in a brutal ideological shackles.
