Petri net is a kind of tool to desciption and analysis system.In recent years,it is more and more widely used in the control field of FMS because of its advantages.This article illustrates some basic techniques of using Petri net in system controulbwith an example:how to establish system's Petri net model and how to program the final system control program by using Petri net model.
