This article analyzes the new features of materials, vocabulary of architecture, in the language of contemporary architecture using the methods of linguistic research, and then summarizes its trend of expressive or ideographic. By tracking down the profound social and cultural causes and motivation behind, it reveals the enormous impact that contemporary society cultural background of information and consumerism brings to contemporary architecture.
