蒙古包的设计体现蒙古人的时空观念。这在其构造设计、室内陈设方面有所反映,表现为构造体现太阳计时、"套脑"(天窗)反映"圆形穹庐"、室内陈设与蒙古人的时空信仰密切相关。

Yurt design manifests the Mongolian＇s view of space and time.It is reflected in the structural design,the furnishing aspect of Yurt,the structure embodying times with the Sun,＂Tao nao＂ （Roof Louvre window） reflecting ＂the Circular yurt＂,the furnishing aspect having close related to the Mongolian＇s faith in space and time.
