Declining Function Layers and Features of Daur Language in Tacheng,Xinjiang

调查数据与分析结果显示,新疆塔城达斡尔族母语的社会功能主要分布于社区、家庭、个体等几个层面,目前这几个层面达斡尔语的使用虽然表现出一定的不平衡性,但均呈衰变状态,即社区母语使用场合较为单一;家庭母语使用极度萎缩;个体母语使用频率与深度随年龄下降而递减。

The survey data and analysis show that the social functions of Daur language are mainly realized in communities,families and individuals in Tacheng,Xinjiang Autonomous Region,which represent some different layers.Although the use of Daur language at the three layers shows the imbalance among them,the decline of the use of Daur language exists in all three levels,namely,in community communication,Daur language is used in limited situation,in family communication,it declines extremely,the frequency of individual use declined with the age,i.e.the younger the people are,the less the language is used.
