October 2010,fields of grains were waving on the banks of Fuhe River in the east of Jiangxi Province,China.Thanks to the consecutive years of good harvests and the general increase in demand for grains,peasants on the river banks and local grain processors were all excited about the forthcoming harvest this year.Nevertheless, 'a Conspiracy Theory' came from a small grain processing factory which only covers 25 acreages in Jinxi,an old city with a long history,that the grain market is controlled by foreign grain deal- ers disquieted the excited China's grain market. Who then is the true culprit behind the rise in grain price? A number of market players such as foreign grain dealers and China Grain Reserves Corporation(or Sinograin) were successively subject to criticism for this.In effect, it was resulted from the fight among stakeholders for their maximum interests in the grain market.But the question is whether it will bring any change to China's grain distribution system or not.
