On the Connotation and Extension of Forensic Science

法庭科学是科学证据的基础学科,术语使用比较频繁但语词用法和内涵界定分歧很大;其所涵盖的外延也存在大小之分,虽然公认诸如法医学之类的自然科学是法庭科学,但对于社会科学和一些高新技术能否归属到法庭科学的范围之中,学术界还存在不同观点。

Forensic science is the basic subject of scientific evidence.The term of forensic science is frequently used with differences between its usage at their lexical level and its definition of connotation.The extension it covers is also contextually different.Academia holds different views on whether social science and some high and new technologies should be included in the scope of forensic science although natural science such as medical jurisprudence has been officially accepted.
