Yao Language(Mian Language) Research Review and Prospects since the Twentieth Century

二十世纪以来的瑶语(勉语)研究,经历了拓荒、普查、沉寂、繁盛、延展五个阶段,在瑶语(勉语)的分布概况、历时演变、语音、词汇、语法以及语言接触与比较等领域取得了不少的成绩。今后应在田野普查、单点深入、方法创新等方面加强研究。

The studying about Yao language（Mian language） experienced a pioneering,census,quiet,prosperous,to extend the five stages since the twentieth century.Made a lot of achievements in the distribution,evolution,voice,vocabulary,grammar and language contact about the Yao language（Mian language）.We should strengthen researching in the field of surveying,single-point studying,innovation of method in future.
