摘要
教学评估的实质是将校方管理部门的工作及教师教学的实际表现与预期目标加以比较、判断,以确保教学工作的顺利开展并取得良好的效果。为了达到这个目标,美国肯塔基州政府负责基础教育的部门在其所管辖的中小学开展定期的教育教学评估工作。该举措极大地增强了接受评估学校管理部门的教育教学管理能力,有效地提升了接受评估教师的专业素质及工作绩效。
The purpose of teaching evaluation and accreditation is to guarantee the smooth implementation of education and to achieve better results of teaching by comparing what the school authorities and faculties have done with their preplanned objectives.To attain this goal,the Education Department in the Kentucky State Government initiates a regular movement entitled Teaching Evaluation and Accreditation in both the elementary and secondary high schools,which aims at enhancing the managerial ability of the school authorities and improving effectively the professional quality and teaching efficiency of the faculties.
