With the construction of the completed pre-casting lots,such as the Wenhetou Beam-making Lot at Yongtai,the Hutuohe Beam-making Lot of the Beijing-Shijiazhuang Railway and the Jiaxing Beam-making Lot of the Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway,as practical examples,the choice of the location,the layout,the equipment requirements,the foundation design,the water and power supply design and the manning arrangement,etc.of the simple-support pre-stressed concrete box girder-precasting lot for passengers-oriented railways are dealt with in detail in the paper,with some advice on how to improve it according to its practical conditions in the course of being used provided.It may serve as a useful reference for other similar projects.
