luxS基因在细菌代谢组学中的相关功能研究进展

Research progress of luxS gene related function on the bacterial metabonomics

luxS基因广泛存在于多种致病菌中,为自身诱导分子-2形成的标志性基因,不但具有密度感应能力,在代谢组学相关方面也有着重要的作用。本文就luxS基因在活化甲基循环中的作用以及其在不同细菌硫代谢、口腔致病菌糖类代谢方面的研究进展作一综述。

luxS gene widely exists in a variety of pathogenic bacteria,which is the iconic gene for the formation of the autoinducer-2 molecule. It not only has the ability of quorum sensing but also plays an important role in the metabonomics. The functions of the luxS in the activated methyl cycle,and the sulfur metabolism for kinds of bacteria as well as the carbohydrate metabolism for the oral pathogenic will be introduced in this article.
