正名中国龙、西方曨、恐曨(热曨)

Rectification of the name Chinese Dragon

由于中国人过去在把"中国龙"翻译成外文(英文)时,图一时方便,套用了一种西方邪恶怪兽的名称"Dragon";与此同时,在把西方的Dragon翻译成中文时未加权衡利弊就使用了"龙"字;上述错误的翻译使中国龙在世界文化领域吃了大亏,稀里糊涂的给原本以吉祥、奋进为主体形象的中国龙,泼了一盆脏水、臭水。此外,生活在2亿年前至6500万年前的热血爬行动物,被翻译成为"恐龙",它们与中国人所说的"龙"完全是两回事,这样的翻译用词也是不妥当的,很容易产生误解,也有必要予以更正。有鉴于此,现在是该给中国龙正名的时候了。

We used to translate the Chinese ＂Loong＂ into English as Dragon which is monster in western culture. At the same time the noun Dragon is translated into Chinese the name of a We lost a lot in the field of world culture by the wrong translation of ＂ 中国龙＂ which should be symbol of luck and vigorousness into Dragon. The wrong translation is like dirty water into the river of Chinese civilization. Furthermore, the dinosaur, a kind of warm-blood reptile, lived in 200million-65million years ago, was translated as ＂恐龙＂which is different from Chinese龙.So the wrong translation should be rectified.
