摘要
介绍了新一代无线移动通信系统（即第三代蜂窝网ＩＭＴ２０００）的主要特征，说明码分多址方式从窄带向宽带的演进，并简述宽带码分多址方式最近在美国和欧洲、日本的设计情况。
The paper begins with pointing out the general requirements of the new generation wireless mobile communication cellular network.Then,it explains the evolution of code division multiple access technology from narrow band to wideband systems,and briefly mentions the design features of W CDMA recently developed in USA,Europe and Japan.
