Breeding report of a new apricot cultivar Guofeng

国丰是以串枝红(原产河北巨鹿)为母本,XC0431(晚熟杏资源,原产于河北昌黎)为父本,通过有性杂交育成的中熟、优质杏新品种。该品种果实近圆形,平均单果质量47g,大果可达93.4g;果皮底色黄,有红晕;果肉橙色,肉质松脆,可溶性固形物14.8%,可溶性糖7.74%,可溶性酸1.708%,维生素C50.65mg·kg-1;果汁多,风味甜,有香味,离核,甜仁。果实发育期80d左右,熊岳地区7月11日前后成熟。

Guofeng, a new high quality, middle ripening apricot cultivar, was derived from the cross of Chuanzhihong × XC0431. Its fruits are nearly round in shape, weighing 47 g on average, but reaching up to 93.4 g. The skin is yellow and covered with red on 30% surface. The orange flesh is crispy, juicy with soluble solids of 14.8%, soluble sugar of 7.74%, titratable acidity of 1.708%, Vc of 50.65 mg·g^-1 and pleasant aromatic sweet flavor, and freestone sweet almond, The fruit development period is about 80 d.
