接入型ATM交换机中局域网仿真系统的研制

A Study of the Development of an LAN Emulation System in the ATM Access Switcher

接入型ＡＴＭ交换机广泛应用于校园网或企业网等专网环境中，因而支持局域网数据通信业务是其应具备的主要功能之一。ＡＴＭ论坛提出的局域网仿真技术是目前广泛采用的一种利用ＡＴＭ网络支持数据通信业务的方式。本文结合作者所完成的“８６３计划”课题成果，分析了ＡＴＭ局域网仿真技术基本原理与接入型ＡＴＭ交换机的体系结构，研究了在接入型ＡＴＭ交换机中实现局域网仿真系统的方法。

ATM access switchers have been widely used in the environment of campus and corporate networks, and thus one of their major functions is to support LAN data communication. The LAN emulation technology that the ATM forum proposes is a currently popular method of supporting data communication services using ATM networks. Considering the achievements the co authors made in the “863 Project”, this paper analyzes the fundamental principles of the LANE technology and the architecture of the ATM access switcher, and studies a method of implementing the LANE system in the ATM access switcher.
