唐诗及Giles译作结构的等值性分析——基于小句复合体理论

Equivalence feature of Giles English translation versions of Tang poems:Based on clausal relation theory

以系统功能语法理论为依据,从小句关系角度对比研究李白的《送友人》、《怨情》、《静夜思》及Herbert A.Giles译作,发现译者作品在小句复合体数目、逻辑——语义关系、逻辑——依赖关系方面与原诗存在较小的差异性,由此说明Giles唐诗英译文本结构的"等值"特点。

This paper takes a functional approach to the study of Farewell, Tears, Night Thoughts by Li Bai and English versions translated by Herbert A. Giles. It attempts to analyze the texts from the perspective of clausal relation. There exists a small difference between the two languages in clause complex, logical-dependency relations, and logical-semantic relations. And textual structure equivalence feature has been revealed from Giles English translation versions of Tang poems.
