摘要
以文秋芳的学习策略理论为基础,运用词汇测试卷和词汇学习情况问卷对西南交通大学大一新生的词汇水平和词汇记忆策略的使用进行调查,结果表明:(1)大学新生支持"背单词",而不太赞同"自然习得单词"的观点;(2)词汇分数高、低两组学生在单词记忆策略使用方面无明显差异,但高分组学生整体策略的使用明显多于低分组;(3)大一新生在记忆词汇时运用多种记忆策略,其中使用频率较高的是重复策略和管理策略,使用频率较低的是活用、上下文和单词表策略;(4)大一学生的词汇成绩和策略使用具有显著相关性。其中,管理策略与学生词汇成绩显著相关,并有预测力。
This study investigates freshmen's vocabulary strategies and their relationship with the vocabulary performance through a vocabulary test and vocabulary learning questionnaire. The analysis shows that: 1 ) freshmen hold the belief that vocabulary should be recited and they do not believe in acquiring; 2) no obvious differences are revealed in the use of specific vocabulary retention strategies by learners of high and low-proficiency, but a significant difference is diagnosed concerning the use of strategies on the whole; 3) freshmen apply many retention strategies, among which rehearsal strategies and regulation strategies have a higher frequency while activation strategies, context strategies and list strategies have a lower frequency; 4) freshmen's vocabulary performance is related with the vocabulary retention strategies and regulation strategies. The latter also has a predictive power for the vocabulary performance.
