伦理学需要一种执中用和的研究方法与智慧。中庸不仅是一种实质理性和价值理性,而且是一种形式理性和工具理性。作为形式理性和工具理性,中庸要求用适度、适当与合理的方法去研究道德现象,寻求道德真谛,确立作为实质理性和价值理性的道德应当。以中庸的方法研究伦理学,要求我们必须超越单纯知识主义的藩篱而将德性与问学作一有机的整合,必须超越过分细微的趋向而使广大与精微实现合理的聚合,必须超越现实主义的观瞻而具备理想主义与现实主义辩证结合的视野。

Ethnics needs a research way and wisdom of middle use,so constant mean has reasons of substance,value,form and tool.As reasons of form and tool,constant mean requires appropriate way to research the moral things and seek the true nature of morality.If we research ethics in the way of constant mean,we must surpass the pure knowledge and put virtue and learning into integration,surpass the minute things and put greatness and extractive things together,and surpass realism and combine idealism with realism in a dialectical way.
