Sealing types usually adopted in industrial compressor are introduced,expound sealing principle of four types,and conpare the features of axle end sealing in high speed turbine compressor,analyse the developing trend of axle end sealing in process gas compressor used in petrochemical industry,provide necessary theoretical guidance for practical manufacture in compressor use and maintenance.
