对于产业的根本性技术创新来说,除了技术极限和需求作用这两个影响因素之外,市场偏好的不连续性也是一个重要的触发因素。通过构建根本性创新的技术轨迹,分析偏好不连续性与根本性技术创新的关系,探讨偏好不连续性的影响要素,并基于对排字机行业的根本性创新的案例分析,论述了一个行业的根本性技术创新可能受到其它产业的技术发展的影响,而偏好不连续性对于产业根本性技术创新的发展具有重要的推动作用。

In addition to technological limits and the role of demand,preference discontinuity is an important trigger for the radical technological innovation in an industry.This paper constructs the technological trajectory of radical innovation,analyses the relationship between preference discontinuity and radical technological innovation and probes into the factors that influence preference discontinuity.Furthermore,based on the investigation of the radical innovation in typesetter industry,I illustrates that the radical innovation in this industry is influenced by the technology development in other industries,and preference discontinuity can promote the radical technological innovation.
