The Characteristic of LMS Smart Antenna for Multipath Fading Reduction

摘要 LMS智能天线是一种抑制多径干扰信号的有效方法,但是在多径环境下,为LMS算法提供参考信号的参考信号恢复电路却存在固有误差。实际上,LMS算法与参考信号恢复方法是相互作用,密不可分的。本文首次把上述两个收敛过程同时加以讨论。分析和仿真结果表明:在多径环境下,参考信号恢复电路存在残余相位漂移,此误差将导致智能天线的信干比(SIR)有10~20dB的恶化量。同时,LMS智能天线的收敛时间至少要增加数倍。 LMS smart antenna is an efficient method to restrain multipath signalsHowever,in multipath environments,there exits an inherent error in the reference signal recovered loop,which generates the reference signal for LMS algorithmActually,the LMS algorithm and reference signal recovered measures are connected and interact tightlyThe above two convergence proceedings are studied simultaneously in the paper in the first timeBoth analysis and simulation show that there exits a residual phase shift (RPS)in the reference signal recovered loop and this leads the SIR of smart antenna degrade about 1020 dB,while convergence time of LMS smart antenna would increase several times at least
