摘要
医院具有悠久的历史,从最初的宗教慈善机构到现代的社会医疗机构,经历了复杂的演变过程。中世纪晚期近代早期,英国的医院经历了一个明显的转型阶段,即为现实社会而不是为上帝服务成为当时医院最本质的特征,这个转变可以称之为医院的世俗化转型。至此,医院的事务逐渐成为世俗世界的事务,医院也开始向着现代医院模式的方向发展。
Hospital has a long history and it also has experienced a complicated transformation from a benevolent institution originally to modern medical establishment.In late medieval and early modern times,British hospitals experienced an obvious transition stage,to serve for the real society rather than for the God becomes the essential character of hospital,which can be regarded the secularization of hospital.Henceforth,hospital＇s affairs become secular ones and it develops towards the model of modern hospital.
