摘要
等离子体显示器(PDP)是一种大面积、高清晰度的平板显示器,适合于在高清晰度电视(HDTV)和各类显示终端中使用.介绍了等离子体显示器的工作原理和基于现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)的电路设计方法.通过研究PDP的工作原理、显示屏的结构和AC型PDP所采用的寻址/显示分离型子场技术,提出一种基于FPGA的存储控制部件方案,并用硬件实现了PDP中的存储控制电路.由于采用了FPGA,整个电路结构紧凑,调试方便,并且提高了电路的可靠性和设计速度.硬件调试结果表明,整个电路达到了设计方案要求,各个芯片也都满足PDP电路所要求的较高的速度指标和特定的逻辑功能.
The plasma display panel (PDP) is a kind of flat panel display, which has a large area and a high definition. The plasma display panel is very appropriate for the HDTV and the multimedia display terminal. This paper first introduces the display principles. FPGA is an efficient and flexible device for designing all kinds of digital circuit. Then, the technique of circuit design based on FPGA is presented. Finally, the scheme of the storage control circuit and the design method by use of FPGA are explained.
