摘要
人类历史可谓是“应对灾难和创伤的历史”。创伤性事件往往令人瞬间心理崩溃，极度沮丧。正因如此，它们一直是中外文学中的永恒主题。2009年美国普利策小说奖获奖作品《奥丽芙·基特里奇》也不例外。失恋、婚姻危机和婚外恋是书中几乎所有故事所反映的重要主题。透过形形色色的婚恋创伤故事，小说集形象地阐释了女作家伊丽莎白·斯特鲁特独特的婚恋观。
Human history is a history of disasters and traumas, which often make people depressed and mentally frustrated. Therefore, trauma is a perpetual theme of literature. Olive Kitteridge, the 2009 Pulitzer Prize winner for Fietion, is no exception. Loss of love, marital conflicts and extramarital affairs are common themes in almost all the stories in the book. Through various trauma stories, the author illustrates her unique views on love and marriage.
