摘要
《淮南子》的修辞美学取向,集中表现在"文"与"质"的关系问题上。作者崇尚"质",主张把真情、内容置于首位;同时也重视"文",主张对"质"的外在表现形式进行适当的文饰加工。在尚质重文的观念主导下,作者提出了"文情理通"、"出言副情"的修辞主张。因此,《淮南子》的修辞美学取向是在尚质前提下的文质统一。
The aesthetic tropism in the rhetoric in Huai Nan Zi manifests itself mainly in the relationship between "form" and "content." The author puts a high premium on the "content", asserting that real feeling and content should come first. At the same time he attaches importance to the "form," maintaining that proper modification should be made to gloze the outward form of the "content." Under the guiding philosophy which prefers "content" and values "form," the author puts forward such rhetorical propositions as "the perfect union of the inner feelings with the outer form of expression" and "language being the expression of one’s genuine feelings." Therefore, the aesthetic tropism in the rhetoric in Huai Nan Zi is the unification of "content" and "form" on the premise of "content" preference.
