摘要
旅游翻译属于应用翻译学范畴,在对旅游翻译的理论进行探索的基础上,得出景区景点、外宣材料的翻译应该依据目的论、功能对等、交际翻译等理论的"多元互补"标准,才能使英译更好地发挥信息传递、劝说等功能。通过分析景区景点名称和外宣材料的文本及功能特点,阐释英译中存在的诸如不统一性、误译等问题产生的根源,并对山西省景区景点、外宣材料的英译提出进一步规范的建议。
Tourist translation is categorized into applied translation.On the basis of exploration of appropriate theories for tourist translation,a natural conclusion has been drawn.Translation criteria of tourist attractions and publicity materials for foreigners should be a combination of" polynary and complementary" theories——Skopos theory,dynamic equivalence and communicative translation,which makes sure that informative and vocative functions be performed well.The author analyzes characteristics of texts and functions of proper names and publicity materials for foreigners,and explains the reasons why there are various problems such as non-standardization and incorrect translation during the process of C-E translating.Lastly,further suggestions are proposed to improve the quality of C-E translation for standardization.
