培育新建地方本科院校办学特色的路径探析

Approaches to cultivating academic distinctiveness in newly-built universities

办学特色是新建地方本科院校生存与发展的核心竞争战略。在深刻剖析地方院校办学特色内涵及其培育办学特色动因的基础上,针对新建地方院校培育办学特色过程中存在的主要问题,提出要从"找准位置,凝练定位特色"、"依托地域资源,铸造学科特色"、"立足优势学科,打造师资特色"、"大胆创新,孕育理念特色"、"坚持育人为本,凝练人才特色"五个方面实现办学特色的路径。

Academic distinctiveness is essential to the survival and development of the newly-built universities.Based on the analysis of the connotation,motif and existing problems in establishing academic distinctiveness in the newly built local universities,we put forward in the paper five approaches to cultivating academic distinctiveness：orientating accurately and highlighting the distinctive orientation;depending upon the local resources to establish distinctive disciplines;taking advantage of privileged disciplines to construct distinctive faculty;innovating bravely to cultivate distinctive university philosophy;sticking to the student-orientated philosophy to foster distinctive talents.
