The So-called Cao Cao’s Tomb Should Be Wangyuan Mausoleum forCao Yu & Cao Huan——"Study on Tomb of Cao Cao", Part Ⅱ

本文与《曹操墓认定的礼制性误判》是姊妹篇。主要将该墓葬呈现出来的考古真实,与可靠传世文献呈现出来的历史真实相结合,对所谓"曹操墓"的真正墓主,进行探索和研判。主要结论是:1.墓葬刻石文字含有丰富而特殊的文化信息,因此带有刻石文字的器物应当是真品,而非后世伪造的赝品;2.从墓葬所蕴含的特殊文化信息,可以确立真正墓主的时间、空间和身份等具体指向;3.经过种种具体指向的全面排查筛选,所谓曹操墓的真正墓主,应当是曹操的儿孙即曹宇、曹奂父子,而曹奂是曹魏的末代君主;4.曹宇、曹奂墓园的正式名称是王原陵,具体方位在邺县西面,这在宋代典籍中有确切而可靠的记载;5.各项指标综合比较的结果,曹宇和曹奂是真正墓主的可能性,远远超过曹操。

This article,as a companion piece of ＂The Illogical Ritual Judgement in Identification of Cao Cao’s Mausoleum＂,explores and identifies the real host of the so-called ＂Tomb of Cao Cao＂ through a comparative study of the original presentation of the major archaeological discoveries and the historical facts presented in reliable literatures.The main conclusions are as follows： 1.Since the carved writing on funeral objects contains rich and unique cultural information,those artifacts must be authentic,not fakes made in later generations;2.Based on the specific cultural information included in the funeral objects,the specific references,such as time,space and identity of the real host of the tomb can be identified;3.After a comprehensive investigation and preparation by screening of the various specific references,the real host of the so-called Tomb of Cao Cao should be Cao Cao＇s son and grandson Cao Yu and Cao Huan,and the latter was the last monarch of the Wei State;4.The official name of the cemetery of Cao Yu and Cao Huan is Wangyuan Mausoleum,located in the west of Ye County,and this is exactly and reliably recorded in the ancient books and records in the Song Dynasty;5.As a result of the comprehensive comparison of various indicators,Cao Yu and Cao Huan are far more likely the real host of the tomb than Cao Cao is.
