齐梁时期存在八病之说,并且与沈约有关系,《文镜秘府论》的声病材料是可靠的。《文镜秘府论》所引沈约"八体"可以看作是八病。八病说的最早探索者是沈约,沈约早在二十岁其创作就追求声律和谐,回避声病。沈约声病说有着丰富的思想。

There was the theory of ＂eight sicknesses＂ ,which had the close relationship with Shen Yue. The material about rhythm and sickness in Wen Jing Mi Fu Lun is reliable. The ＂eights styles＂ by Shen Yue in Wen Jing Mi Fu Lun should be regarded as ＂eight sicknesses＂ ,the earliest explorer of ＂eight sicknesses＂ was Shen Yue,when he was only 20 year-old,he sought the harmony of the sound in creation,and avoided the sickness of sound,and his theory of rhythm and sickness had rich ideas.
