摘要
器官移植的终极目标是达到受者对移植物的特异性耐受状态而不需用免疫抑制剂。许多诱导耐受的策略已在啮齿类动物中成功实现,然而这些策略应用到临床上仍面临很大障碍。非人灵长类动物的生理特征及免疫系统与人相似,用其建立器官移植模型,是将诱导耐受策略应用于临床的必要步骤。
The ultimate goal in organ transplantation is to reach a state of tolerance to the graft so that immunosuppression is no longer needed.Many strategies for inducing tolerance have been successfully applied in murine models,however,they have been poor predictors to the clinic.Nonhuman primates possess an immune system that more closely approximates that found in humans.Nonhuman primate transplantation models are an essential step to translating induction of tolerance to the clinic.
