摘要
张庚于1927年开始参加戏剧活动,20世纪30年代在上海参加左翼戏剧运动。作为资深的戏剧理论家,张庚从20世纪50年代初期就致力于反对戏曲领导工作中的教条主义和戏曲研究中的庸俗社会学。在20世纪50年代中期他对戏曲改革做出建设性思考,并提出"剧诗"的主张。张庚不仅是戏曲理论家,而且在戏剧史领域也卓有建树,他的戏剧理论具有很强的实践性、强烈的时代性和视野的开放性。多年来,他一方面反对用西洋的模子改造中国戏曲,另一方面,又极力主张吸收西方戏剧中有益的养料来提高自己,壮大自己。他坚信人类未来的艺术必然是东西方文化精华的融会。促进具有东方特色的戏曲艺术现代化,让它不断适应新时代的需要和观众的需要,是这位杰出的戏剧学学者一贯的追求,也是值得总结和发扬光大的地方。
Zhang Geng began his drama career from 1927.In 1930s,he was one member of Leftist Drama Movement.Since early 1950s,Zhang Geng had committed himself to combating with doctrinairism in leading work and shallow sociology in dramatic research.In mid 1950s,papers on drama innovation ascribed to Zhang Geng not only criticized shallow sociology from diverse points,but also proposed many meaningful ideas.As an excellent dramatist,Zhang Geng attained a great achievement in drama theory and drama history.Furthermore,his theoretic research was quite open and he always took dramatic phenomena either oriental of western countries as his research objects.Thus,he possessed a profound scholarship in western literary theory.Generally speaking,he didn't agree to reform traditional Chinese drama with western style.However,he strongly proposed to take in the beneficial elements of western drama in promoting Chinese drama,since he believed that future art would be a combination of oriental and western culture.Therefore,he dedicated himself to fostering the modernity of oriental drama art so as to meet the needs of audiences.
