Cognitive Equivalence:A New Perspective of Translating Northern Shaanxi Folk Songs

翻译对等一直以来都是翻译理论家们密切关注的热点和焦点话题,但传统的翻译研究存在一定的局限性,它们只集中于语言形式、意义、信息、功能、效果等层次上的对等,忽视了翻译过程中的认知心理因素这一本质特征。认知语言学的发展给翻译理论注入了新鲜的血液,从认知的角度来探讨陕北民歌的对等翻译将会更科学。

Translation equivalence has long been an important and hot topic for translation researchers. However, traditional translation studies have some limitations, they only focus on the equivalence of the form, the meaning, the message, the function, the effect, etc., and researchers rarely study translation from a perspective of cognitive equivalence by taking into account cognitive elements inherent in translation process. The development of cognitive linguistics injects new blood for translation theories,and the study of Northern Shaanxi Folk Songs from the perspective of cognitive equivalence will be more scientific.
