Damage Effects of Moulds on New Media Archives and Importance of Anti-moulds Preservation

霉菌是危害新型载体材料档案的主要因素之一。本文介绍了新型载体材料档案的特点，分析了其容易被霉菌危害的原因，阐述了霉菌对新型载体材料档案产生危害的作用机理。总结出对于新型载体材料档案来讲所面临的最普遍、最迫切的保护问题是防霉问题，且强调指出必须在“防”字上下功夫的实际意义。

Mould is one of main factors provoking damage on new-medium-material archives. This paper introduced the characteristics of new media-materials for archives use,analysed the cause of their vulnerability to moulds,and expounded the mechanism of these moulds' behavior. It's concluded that mould prevention should be the most common and urgent measure in the preservation of new-material archives. The practical significance of prevention is particularly stressed.
