At present,images are commonly used for rounded - border design. The advantages of using images are the outward appearance and are viewable in any web browser, but excessive use of images will increase the size of web site and reduce the web page transfer speed. According to the principle of bitmap,this paper introduces a new way of designing the rounded borders with three -dimensional effect through the rational use of DIV ＋ CSS, and which can effectively reduce client download time and server load.
