摘要
提出一种基于矢量量化技术的图象分形压缩编码方法,其能较好地克服传统的图象分形压缩编码方法中存在的速度慢、压缩率低等缺点,并且同时获得较高的图象恢复质量。最后给出的实验结果证明文中方法是非常有效的。
A fractal compression and coding method for image based on vector quantization is presented in this paper. It solves the shortcomings such as slow speed and lower compression ratio existed in traditional methods well. And at the same time it achieves the high quality of restored image as well. The experimental result given at the end of this paper proves that our algorithm is quite effective.
