摘要
GIS空间过程建模分析功能是GIS走向广泛应用的基础。为了实现这一目标,不仅要求GIS的数据模型能够充分表达过程模拟所需的基本数据集和模拟模型的输出数据集,还要求GIS提供更加丰富的空间分析功能,尤其是多时相空间分析功能。但现有GIS本质上都是静态系统,不仅无法完善地表达时间变量及时空拓扑,也没有提供充足的时空分析功能。完全改变或较大修改数据模型,并开发大量的但可能只具有较窄的应用范围的时空分析模型不会被GIS开发者所接受。因此,针对空间过程模拟问题。
The functionality of spatial process analysis is the foundation of GIS's comprehensive applicaton. To realize such a goal, it is desirable that not only the data model of GIS can represtent the datasets needed by spatial process models and output datasets, but also GIS is able to do multitemporal spatial analysis. But most of current GISs are static in essence, they cannot represent temporal information and temporal topology, and have not rich functionality of multitemporal analysis. Completely changing or largely modifying data model of current GISs and developing a lot of spatial process models which may have very narrow applications could not be accepted by the GIS vendors. Based on this point of view, a method to extend current GIS to support spatial process simulation modeling is proposed.
