农村社区老年人兴趣爱好与老年痴呆症患病率

The personal interests and the prevalence of dementia among theelderly community at rural area in Anhui province,China

目的探讨农村社区老年人兴趣爱好与老年痴呆症患病率之间的关系。方法根据老年人兴趣爱好方面的调查内容,分别进行描述性分析、Mann-Whitney U检验和单因素Logistic回归分析。结果随着老年人兴趣爱好种数的增加,老年痴呆症患病率呈下降趋势(U=-3.096,P=0.002)。结论兴趣爱好缺乏的老人是老年痴呆症的高危人群。

Objective To research the relationship of personal interests and the prevalence of dementia.Methods The factors of interests and dementia were analyzed by descriptive statistics,Mann-Whitney U test and logistic regression analysis respectively.Results The prevalence of dementia will increase with less interests （U=-3.096,P=0.002）.Conclusion The elderly lacked of interests and hobbies were among the high-risk demography of having dementia in rural community.
