摘要
文献研究结果表明目前国内外对想象力的相关研究多以想象力及想象风格的理论研究居多,而实证研究不足。本研究着力于通过实证研究,探究非英语专业学生想象风格的倾向性,以及学习者想象风格与其阅读成绩的相关关系。其结果表明:受试的想象风格中"积极建构型"的倾向性显著;"积极建构型"想象风格与阅读成绩呈正相关;"分散混乱型"想象风格与阅读成绩呈负相关。本研究将想象力在阅读教学和学习中的作用提升到显性层面,这将有助于提高教与学的效率,为培养学习者阅读能力探索一条更为有效的途径。
Imagination is the psychological process during which man processes, changes, and reorganizes the existed images in the brain so as to form new images. Literature review shows that domestic linguists and researchers emphasize the role of imagination in education. Different from previous researches, most of which merely conduct theoretical studies rather than empirical ones, this paper is designed to explore the subjects~ imagining style or characteristics, its correlation with their English reading achievement, as well as the question that how learners differ in their imagining styles and to what extent their imagining styles are related to their EFL reading achievement.
