Harmonious Competition——Sun Tzu's Core Cultural Spirit

对近30年来有关《孙子兵法》是战争之法还是和平之法的争论进行了认真的梳理。将孙子置于春秋战国时期文化发展的时代背景下,置于中国农耕文化的土壤之中进行考察,认为孙子的核心文化精神乃是和谐竞争,并进一步指出,这一核心文化精神是与人类社会发展规律相一致的。而将研究的焦点置于竞争与和谐这对人类社会发展的最基本的矛盾之上,正是《孙子兵法》有别于其他兵书并高于其他兵书的一个重要原因。

The arguments that The Art of War is military science or peaceful science in recent thirty years have been seriously systemized.Studying Sun Tzu in the background of the cultural development of Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period and Chinese farming culture,this paper holds that the core cultural spirit is harmonious competition and points out that the core cultural spirit is consistent with the developing law of human society.The study focuses on competition and harmony,the basic contradiction of the development of human society,which is one of the important reason why The Art of War is different from other books on military science and superior to them.
