外籍教师在航海类高职院英语教学中的作用探析

外籍教师在我国航海类高职院英语教学中扮演着重要的角色。外籍教师有着语言文化方面的优势,先进的教学理念和教学方法,教学态度严谨,并且在考核方面也体现出一定的优势。但是,外籍教师也存在一些问题:不了解中国英语教学的实际情况,课堂教学缺乏系统性,缺乏专业背景和教师队伍不稳定。针对这些问题,提出相应的应对策略:加强外籍教师岗前培训,引进国外优质教学资源,中外教师合作教学和建立相对稳定的外籍教师队伍。

Foreign teachers have been playing an important role in English teaching in maritime vocational colleges.Foreign teachers have advantages in foreign language and culture,they have advanced teaching concepts and teaching methods,and they are strict in teaching and employ diverse assessment methods.Nevertheless,they also have their disadvantages,unaware of Chi-nese English teaching,lack of systematicness in English teaching,lack of expertise background and instability.In light of these,the paper puts forward corresponding strategies,strengthening foreign teachers＇pre-job training,bringing in excellent foreign teaching resources,collaborative teaching between foreign teachers and Chinese teachers and establishing stable for-eign teacher team.
