Review to Education during the Period of Chieftain of Yi Nationality in Bijie Prefecture

毕节地区彝族土司时期的教育形式多样,既有传统教育,又有非传统教育即汉文化教育,尤其是汉文化教育在明朝以来发展迅速。奢香夫人及毕节地区其他土司都在不同程度上重视汉文化教育,彝汉文化的交流加强,促进了毕节彝族地区经济的发展,社会的进步。

The forms of the education during the period of chieftain of Yi Nationality in Bijie prefecture were various,including traditional education, family education and the education of Han nationality culture, especially the education of Han nationality culture has developed rapidly since Ming Dynasty. Mrs Shexiang and other Chieftains in Bijie District attached importance to the education of Han nationality culture with different degrees. The exchanges between Yi nationality culture and Han nationality culture have strengthened and prompted the development of economy in Yi nationality area and enhanced the progress of society.
