Synthesis,Crystal Structures and Characterization of Copper, Manganese Complexes with N-p-Tolylsulfonyl-α-Alanine and 1,10-Phenanthroline

N-对甲苯磺酰-α-丙氨酸（Ts-α-Hala）,邻菲咯啉（phen）与金属氯化物在pH=3-4的水和有机溶剂中反应,合成了2个新颖的单核配合物[Cu（phen）（Ts-α-ala）2（H2O）]（1）和[Mn（phen）（Ts-α-ala）（HCOO）（H2O）2]（2）。X-射线单晶衍射分析表明,配合物1为三斜晶系,P1空间群,晶胞参数：a=1.1746（2）nm,b=1.1828（2）nm,c=1.4936（3）nm,α=70.22（3）°,β=88.26（2）°,γ=62.14（3）°,V=1.7060（8）nm3,Z=2,F（000）=774,R1=0.0553,wR2=0.1189;中心铜离子的配位多面体为畸变的四角锥体,配合物中存在分子间氢键,将配合物扩展为一维无限超分子链。配合物2为单斜晶系,P21/c空间群,晶胞参数：a=2.3944（2）nm,b=0.99292（11）nm,c=1.08029（11）nm,β=92.750（2）°,V=2.5654（4）nm3,Z=4,F（000）=1152,R1=0.0569,wR2=0.1105;有6个原子与中心锰离子配位形成畸变的八面体配位环境,配合物中存在丰富的氢键,将配合物扩展为二维层状超分子结构。

Two novel mononuclear complexes [Cu（phen）（Ts-α-ala）2（H2O）] （1） and [Mn（phen）（Ts-α-ala）（HCOO）（H2O）2] （2） were isolated from the mixed solvent reaction of N-p-Tolylsulfonyl-α-Alanine （Ts-α-Hala）, 1,10-phenanthroline （phen） and CuCl2·2H2O （or MnCl2·4H2O）, and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, TG and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Complex 1 is triclinic system, space group P1^- with the cell parameters： a=1.174 6（2） nm, b= 1.182 8（2） nm, c=1.493 6（3） nm, α=70.22（3）°, β=88.26（2）°, γ=62.14（3）°, V=1.706 0（8） nm3, Z=2, F（000）=774, R1= 0.055 3, wR2=0.118 9; The coordination polyhedron of copper ion is distorted square pyramidal. The intermolecular hydrogen bonds results in the structure of one-dimensional supramolecular chain of the complex. The complex 2 is monoclinic system, space group P21/c with the cell parameters： a=2.394 4（2） nm, b=0.992 92（11） nm, c=1.080 29（11） nm, β=92.750（2）°, V=2.565 4（4） nm^3, Z=4, F（000）=1 152, R1=0.056 9, wR2=0.110 5. The manganese ion is in a geometry of distorted octahedral built by six coordination atoms. There are a lot of hydrogen bonds in the complexe, forming a two-dimensional layered supramolecular structure.
