On＇the 14th of September of 2010, the 1 lth Panchen Lama （who is also a member of the CPPCC and deputy president of the Chinese Association of Buddhism） met with Mr. Yang Rongwen （Siogapore Foreign Minister）, Master Guang Sheng （the Chairman of the Headquarters of Buddhism in Singapore） and some other religious figures in Singaporel in the Xi Huang Temple of Beijing. The 1 lth Panchen Lama warmly expressed his welcome to the delegation from Singapore led by Mr. Yang Rongwen. Mr. Yang also addressed his excitement and gratitude for this meeting and presented Orchids, the national flower of the Singapore, and Karda to the 11th Panchen Lama.
